This evening’s (30/7) Tournament meeting for the 2024 Mens Country Championship, questions were raised in respect to the ‘10 minute’ rule. Our present Country rule R22 relates to ‘no new innings starting within 10 minutes of schedule time concluding’…This rule WILL be utilized in the 2024 tournament. R23 relates to ‘an additional 10 minutes after the schedule game time to play for a result’.. This rule WILL NOT be utilised during this tournament. Due to the volume of teams playing and the limited change-over periods between games a hard finish rule has been adopted for this tournament. All games are of a 2 hour duration unless subject to rule R22.
