In the Zoom meeting, discussion’s were undertaken with respect to each age group batting through their line-up instead of the standard baseball rules of 9 batters. Decisions were made at the time but on reflection and discussions with the Country Registrar the following will be adhered to for this competition to clear the lines for Coaching Staff and the Registrar to determine player participation throughout the tournament.
Zooka will bat 12 players. All other grades will fall in line with the standard rules for baseball and bat the regulation 9 players.
Given the amount of grades and games being played over a very short period, it will greatly assist in maintaining control over participation and be a more equitable situation for players within teams.The CLSC apologises for any confusion arising out of last nights meeting.
